About the Space
Brewery and Taproom / shop 1970s style warehouse housing microbrewery (lots of photogenic shiny steel vessels) taproom (bar and seating), shop (industrial chic styling) and office space. The brewery space is laid out in a linear fashion and very spacious for this type of environment. There are very high ceilings and space to manoeuvre / frame shots. The taproom / bar area is integrated to the shop and is boxed in create a comfortable and welcome environment. Large gallery style windows overlook the brewing hall to the East and patio style doors in the West over look the rear yard and fields. There are two large floor to ceiling roller shutters to the rear of the warehouse space providing easy access for large machinery / equipment as well as wheelchair access. They also enable lots of natural light to be available if required. There's a lobby entrance which provides access to the Taproom and Shop as well as entry into the brewing hall. There are 3 spacious onsite toilets, hot and cold mains water and 3 phase electric access points. To the outside the property has parking to the front and rear. The rear is secured from public access with a main gate. There is also high quality CCTV covering the yard and build access points, including an ANPR camera. The brewery is based in the village of Prestwood, Buckinghamshire. It is at the heart of the Chiltern Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There are many local walks and cycle rides. There is a village grocery store, pharmacy, pub and post office amongst other amenities. There are places to enjoy lunch and dinner, including an award winning Farm Shop and Inn (pub) within a short walk from the brewery. The village of Great Missenden is a 5 min drive away and has direct rail links to London Marylebone. Great Missenden is also the birthplace of the world renowned author Roald Dahl. The museum and story centre is based on the high street in Great Missenden.
