About the Space

The Bowling Green is our newly refurbished outdoor events space beside the courtyard on the ground floor. Perfect for informal get-togethers, well-being classes and the odd game of boules. There have been bowling greens here since the 1600’s (alongside bear-baiting, cock-fighting, drinking and gambling.) We just stick with the good stuff. Please note that the published rate and minimum # of hours to book are flexible and it depends on the type of event, days of the week, timings & number of guests. So, it would be best to enquire if you are interested. The venue may have a separate cancellation policy. For further information, please ask the Event Manager.
