About the Space
Located West of the Junction, l'Appartement" is a Parisian-inspired 900-square feet space with an Art Déco twist. We have 3 different rooms and 3 different vibes as well as an huge outdoor terrace. ⚠️ APRIL UPDATE: Exceptionally, bookings will be 3 hours minimum and limited to crews up to 5 people from April 7th to April 23rd ⚠️ The space is perfect or photo and video shoots of any kinds (boudoir, portraits, commercial, music videos, bridal, maternity, family, kids, pets, editorial, product, fashion...) 🏠 VIRTUAL VISIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HRUHXP-lCg THIS SPACE IS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR: - Multiple ambiances is one space; - Unobstructed Natural Light; - Unique décor and props with vintage touches; - Combining indoors shoots with outdoors; - Not worrying about noise-level. SPACE FEATURES: - 3 ROOMS + OUTDOOR SPACE (900 sq ft indoors + 300 sq ft outdoors), with classic Parisian Mouldings all over the unit: The Living-Room with our Terracotta tones and iconic fireplace mantle; The Day Lounge: the corner bedroom with light tones and our retro pink mouldings; The Night Lounge: our library with rich green tones and luxurious bar cart. The Patio: our French Provincial wooden outdoor terrace. Every rental includes full access to the whole unit. Every piece of furniture is easily movable via sliders. We allow a max of 25 people in the space. - Easy access by TTC (bus across the street as well as the subway station Runnymede 5 minutes south) or by car with easy-to-find free parking all around the block. - Full kitchen available with espresso machine and tea kettle (coffee, tea, oat milk provided) - Full private bathroom inside the unit; - Complimentary high-speed internet; - Bluetooth speaker. - Please note that as an attempt to be as eco-friendly and waste-free as possible, we provide real tableware and cutlery, as well as reusable hand towels and cleaning cloths, should you need them. We don't have paper towel on site and only a very limited amount of single-use cups and cutlery. The space was such a great place. We filmed music video in the location and everything went smooth. Juliette was such a great host. Communication was 10/10. We had to push back our time the day before and she got back to us right away and accommodated.

Pros: The space was beautifully decorated and easy to access. Spacious as well! Juliette was very easy to communicate with leading up to our visit and answered all questions promptly. Cons: At first glance, everything seemed relatively clean. However, the garbage can was full upon arrival, and there was dust on the mirrors and most surfaces as well. No paper towel was provided, which would have been helpful to have on hand.

We were able to go in and view the space before we booked which was extremely helpful for making sure it was the right fit and helped us to plan our shoot day effectively.

This place is a tad bit smaller than the advertising pictures felt, but every corner is photographic and there were still tons of space for our 3 photographers, assistant, and 2 models to pose with a lot of variety. I held a workshop here with photographers - the natural light was fantastic, and everyone got such different images from each other. I had an easy time finding free street parking being a Saturday morning. The hosts were communicative and kind. I’ll definitely come back!

5 stars! The space was beautiful and super tidy. Information (how to use, whats available) was very straightforward and easy. They have hot beverages available for use, which I thought was nice. Hosts were graciously accommodating when I asked for a late modification to my booking. My stressful morning turned into a smooth-sailing, afternoon shoot!

"I recently did a shoot at this fantastic studio, which offers three rooms, each with a unique aesthetic feel and style. The variety of settings allowed for great creativity and versatility in our shots. The space was well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and provided a perfect backdrop for our project. The different styles in each room made it easy to capture a wide range of looks in one location, saving us both time and effort. Fanatsic space looks just like the photos, the host was wonderful and we got some amazing shots.

The studio is stunning and well appointed. It’s on a corner so you get north and east light, but even on a late afternoon in March was perfect. All rooms have great details without being overcrowded and you can tell that a lot of thought went into the design and accessories of the rooms. I can’t wait for the outdoor space to be completed . I will definitely shoot here again
