Set within private landscaped gardens and open parkland in rural Staffordshire, Alrewas Hayes is a picturesque country estate steeped in history. Dating back to the early 18th century, it has been home to five generations of the Williams family and our heritage remains at its core. At the heart of Alrewas Hayes lies The Courtyard. A peaceful oasis offering calm and seclusion among the delicate scent of English roses, French lavender and silver birch trees. Accommodating from 60 guests up to 220, The Lakeside is set overlooking our private lake, woodlands and wheat fields beyond. By day a tranquil, whitewashed canvas for the creative and by night an atmospheric, star-lit party space, The Lakeside is whatever you make it and offers direct access to both The Courtyard and Williams Bar. Accessed via its own private walkway, the Great Barn is the largest of our event rooms accommodating events from 220 to 650 guests. Reminiscent of a cool airport hanger from the outside yet sleek and contemporary on the inside with projection mapping on it's walls, it’s a place where the unimaginable is possible. As day transcends into night, the Williams Bar is the room that gets the party started. With its leopard print wallpaper, atmospheric lighting and floor-to-ceiling shelves stocked full of specially selected spirits, beers and wines, it’s a party-perfect drinking house. Completing the Alrewas Hayes experience our 11 bedrooms offer a uniquely personal experience. Located across our Main House, Lodge and Coach House, each room tells its own story, harmoniously blending contemporary style with the elegance expected of a country retreat.
