About the Space

This is a contemporary, flexible space, 15 minutes. With three rooms - a bar area, a games area and an events space, it can be flexed and rearranged to any need. It has capacity for 60 people, and hosts a range of social games such as shuffleboard, table football, arcade games, table tennis and basketball. It has bench and relaxed seating, a stage, a screen and sound system. It has a bar area which provides soft drinks, popcorn and snacks, and users are welcome to bring their own drinks and food. The venue can be arranged to suit any event from parties and performances to away days, workshops and product launches. the event space can be cleared almost entirely, making it ideal for all sorts from photo shoots to fitness and yoga sessions. And each room can be separated by a curtain, creating flexible breakout space, or simply some privacy for podcasting. The venue's main job (thurs-sun) is as a social space for teenagers, and hire of the venue helps fund the continuation of our project to create a new model for youth services provision, and a space for young people to spend time socialising face-to-face in a safe and inspiring space.
