About the Space

Located in the heart of East London and converted from a 1950s newspaper print factory loading bay, the perfect backdrop for a memorable event. The impressive frontage is constructed from mismatched salvaged windows and doors. The interior space features a mix of vintage and mid-century furniture and houses many plants. The space has a full ceiling height of over 5.5 m, and two mezzanine areas, as well as a small outdoor area at your disposal during the day. Our white-painted brick walls, an abundance of daylight and industrial warehouse vibes make our space the ideal location for supper clubs, parties, art exhibitions, press and product launches, film and photo shoots, live music and performances, weddings and celebrations. In the evening, the atmosphere at Hatch gets cosy and intimate with dimmed lights and a living room-like atmosphere. So whether you are looking for a new home for your book club, a place to hold your poetry night or the perfect spot for that press event – we have space for it all. As a sustainable and independently run space, we're proud to be part of the East London scene. ***Little known facts about the venue: Has a very colourful history due to its purposeful nature it has been used as a clothing market, an illegal nightclub, a boxing gym and a café.
