A 90s Throwback Coffee House with Killer Analog Sound

About the Space

Our coffee house honors the eclectic coffee house scene of the 1990s with a decor that mixes irreverent art, vintage/thrifted furniture and zine culture. This intimate space also features a purpose-built performance area, with a 10'x12' stage and red velvet curtained backdrop. The stage is driven by a fully analog sound system, with vintage MacIntosh amps, a 48 channel Allen Heath mixing board and dozens of vintage microphones. The space features an in-house sound engineer and acoustician, who has created studio-level sound inside a bustling cafe through precise sound mitigation techniques. We have hosted hundreds of live performances since we opened in 2023, and are growing our live-off-the-floor album recordings. We host film screenings, comedy nights, monthly drag shows, cabaret nights and kink events, and are an 2SLGBTQ+ welcoming space. The space has also been used for several film shoots, commercial shoots and music video productions. Located in a light industrial neighbourhood just outside of downtown Calgary, we are easily accessible, with lots of street parking for larger production units/trailers, and no concerns with residential noise issues.
