About the Space
198 plants and counting 🌿 The newly redecorated garden oasis is ideal for small intimate lifestyle, portrait, and product photography shoots. The space has been featured for "Creative Interior Design" by Forbes Magazine, Home & Design Magazine, and Daily Hive Vancouver. The aesthetic is jungle-industrial. The downstairs has 148 plants, seating, shelves, a bathroom, kitchen, and a large work desk. There's also a projector mounted to the wall. Upstairs is the "bedroom" area where there's an additional 23 plants. There is a large skylight directly above the bed. The loft is south facing and gets lots of natural light. There are also large full window drapes to manage sunlight. The loft is set-up as work-live. The building has a large industrial elevator and there is a loading zone in the back alley. Great space with lovely plants and decor but there was no hammock as it showed in the photos which was a big reason I booked. Also I didn’t expect it to be a lived in space so some of the personal items in the space made it a bit tricky to work around. The owner also interrupted 20 mins prior to our booking ending so it caused a disruption to our photoshoot flow. Overall, nice space but it wasn’t exactly what I expected.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve dreamed of filming here for years, so finally seeing it in person was such a pinch-me moment. We had a small crew of three, and once wardrobe and lighting were set up, it did feel a bit tight, but wow, the photos and videos were so worth it. The space delivers visually.
