About the Space
Our 1912 heritage apartment is conveniently located in the vibrant South Granville shopping district, just a stone’s throw from Downtown and Granville Island. This bright, south-facing unit boasts 1,100 square feet of charming space, complete with unique nooks and original architectural details that offers timeless European-feeling elegance. Highlights include tall French doors in the wood-paneled dining room, a second bedroom with a New York-style iron fire escape, a functioning gas operated-wood look fireplace and original inlaid wood flooring. An organic mix of antique and modern furnishings & live plants along with a curated blend of interesting art and collectibles set the scene. The well equipped kitchen has black & white checkered flooring; our wide hallway is ideal for storing gear; and the 2nd bedroom as well as our den can be used as hair & makeup areas. Metered parking and 2 loading zone spots for easy drop-off is available right next to the building on Granville Street with various paid parking lots within a 2 minute walk. The building has an elevator. Various restaurants are close by for crew lunches. We had an amazing time here for our birthday pictures!!! The place is beautiful and full of decorations with taste. Even though it’s not a sunny day when we are here but it still looks amazing. The rooms are cozy and 3hrs are not really enough for us because we had so many photo ideas when we were stepping in so we will definitely come back some other day. Simon as the host is super friendly and thoughtful. He messaged us with the details that people don’t usually notice (sunlight situation throughout the day; parking around the building; etc) I would 100% recommend this place ^ ^

Ok. I cannot begin to say how amazing this space is! From the south facing light filled windows to a million different vignettes in every corner to shoot in. Then on top of that the best host. Simon is lovely! Will def be renting this space again!

Highly recommend this location! This is our second time using this space and it continues to exceed our expectations. The space is exactly as described and even more beautiful in person - thoughtfully designed and curated, filled with the most perfect natural light that made our photoshoot effortless. Simon is extremely helpful and has thought of every detail. Definitely ones of the best rental locations out there. Whether you`re a photographer, publication or brand team this space is an absolute gem!

This place is absolutely INSANE! I’ve never seen anywhere more beautiful. Every detail is so thoughtfully designed, with lovely touches everywhere. I don’t know how but honestly, it’s even better than the photos, we couldn’t get enough of it. But that’s not all. Simon was incredibly kind, helpful, and informative. He went above and beyond to assist us both before and during our stay. He was there when we needed him, made sure we have everything we need, even helped carry our bags because it was raining so much. We truly couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to come back. If you’re trying to decide between places or having second thoughts for whatever reason, please don’t! Trust the reviews and book it with your eyes closed. Thank you, Simon. You’re the BEST!

Simon's Romantic Heritage Apartment (NYC/Paris Character) One of the most beautiful studios I’ve ever shot in! The natural light is absolutely stunning, making it a perfect space for music videos and photography. The heritage character with NYC/Paris vibes adds so much charm and aesthetic to the visuals. The host was incredibly friendly and cooperative, even going the extra mile to help us move equipment in and out, which made our shoot experience smooth and stress-free. Loved shooting here—totally recommended for anyone looking for a unique and light-filled studio!

So accommodating, clean, helpful, kind. Everything from helping us carry up some of our gear to making sure we had water, to making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend this space to anyone looking for a luxe, parisian aesthetic to elevate their brand. So many amazing corners and spaces within this 1000 sqft… the pictures don’t do it justice. Very happy with my decision to book this place.
