About the Space

Welcome to Thornleigh, a 132 year old detached Victorian house in Yorkshire. Thornleigh is bursting with original period features, extremely picturesque and capable of capturing any mood; whether you are looking for a Victorian summer shoot, a warm and welcoming Christmas/winter look, or an imposing, powerful, haunted feel. Thornleigh has a very large gated slate drive at the front with the house elevated in the background, looking stunning, all surrounded by beautiful greenery, including 100+ year old oak and lime trees, as well as cherry trees, silver birches and many more. An outdoor heated swimming pool is due to undergo renovation and will be available to use soon. An additional driveway at the rear/side of the house is cobbled, so can be used for period shoots or as parking. Thornleigh also has ownership of a private road next to the house, which provides plenty of space for production vehicles etc. As the interior of the property is undergoing some renovation, we are currently restricting shoots to outdoor only, however we will consider, under exceptional circumstances, limited interior shooting.
