About the Space

This mansion is the working home of the General Lighthouse Authority of England and Wales. It is a Georgian gem located on Tower Hill with direct views of the Tower of London. It is a few minutes walk from the Tower Hill underground and overlooks the picturesque Trinity Square Gardens and memorials, adjacent to 10 Trinity Square Four Seasons Hotel. Inside the building, a grand reception hall leads to a stylish twin-curved staircase and dramatic ceiling. On the first floor are five rooms with high ceilings, three of which are south-facing offering direct views of the Tower. The Court Room features a stunning maritime-themed Trompe l'oeil ceiling and The Library with Minstrels' Gallery contains stained glass windows, two elegant chandeliers and a display cabinet of valuable silver.
