About the Space

A lovely 5-giant-window-gem with gorgeous natural light and antiques on the border of LES and Chinatown, co-owned by a multi-disciplinary artist and florist. By handpicking every single piece of furnishing and choosing to renovate the space ourselves, our intention was to infuse the space with our DNA, so that it could serve as a welcoming source of inspiration for artists and change-makers to gather, create, collaborate, and experiment. We're now excited to share it with you. Our studio is on the 4th floor of a commercial building with a convenient, spacious elevator, a 3-5 minute walk from BD & F trains, 10 min from NQRW6JZ trains, with plenty of parking options nearby. It has a view of the Manhattan Bridge & One World Trade Center. It has professional photo equipment. Perfect for photo production: fashion, portrait, family, still life. Video production: fashion, interview, music videos. We have a cyc wall with photo paper rolls, lighting equipment, V-flats, vanity table and garment rack. Also great for intimate workshops, presentations, trainings, pop-ups, and production home base . It can definitely lend itself to low key private events or dinners, with a small kitchenette area that includes microwave, toaster oven, electric stove top, kitchen island, cold & hot water dispenser, fridge and french press. The studio itself is 630 square feet but comes with an additional 170 ft hallway (where you can store your items) and two private bathrooms. The vibe is definitely nature, earth tones, wood, and it's inhabited by stunning large plants, and unique, handpicked antiques that give it a homey, cozy feel. We have comfortable seating for up to 16 people, and have had non-seated events where we've comfortably fit 45 people.
