Welcome to an urban oasis on the top floor of a historic building in South Downtown, the heart of Atlanta’s re-envisioned Hotel Row. Built in 1908, the former Sylvan Hotel was fully restored in 2022, maintaining all of its Southern charm while adding modern amenities. Our open and flexible floor plan features abundant natural light, exposed brick and original beams throughout, with views of the downtown skyline and nearby attractions. Inside is a sunset lounge, custom built library, oversized boardroom, collaborative, coworking and office space furnished in contemporary style. Off the elevator or stairs, you'll notice Vestaboard smart messaging display, four 50-inch, flat screen smart TVs. The space is ADA compliant with 2 gender-neutral restrooms. Ohio River South provides the perfect venue for a variety of events and occasions (production shoots, holiday parties, baby showers, birthdays, off-site retreats, meetings, etc.), both professional or social. *Please note: If you are booking an evening or nighttime event, an additional $40/hour fee per security guard will be added for security at the door. If over 50 guests, more than 1 security guard is required. **Please note: A Site Rep is now required for all reservations (at our discrection). ***Please note: Event insurance is required, but not to worry we've made it easy for you. My company held a breakfast event/presentation at this space while a large conference was in town. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jasmine and the space. 1) The space is even better than expected. Very easy to load-in/load-out and extremely easy to find. There is street parking right below and there were always spots available. It's walkable if you are anywhere downtown. 2) Jasmine is one of the loveliest people I've had a chance to work with. She was friendly, accommodating, and communicative. Those are extremely rare qualities to find in someone these days, and she was beyond a pleasure to work with. I've held events at a LOT of venues globally, and this was top notch.

This event space was perfect for my dinner party. All of my guest loved the space and had a great time. I hope to have future gatherings here because it was fantastic. Jasmine was the best with communication, instructions was so helpful when I realized I forgot an item for dinner. Jasmine was great to work with overall and the venue is exactly what I wanted. I recommend this venue to everyone!
