About the Space

This beautiful auditorium has space for 82 bums on 82 comfy armchairs. The building was originally built as a cinema back in 1913 and we are incredibly lucky to have retained many of its original features. The original proscenium arch takes pride of place with it's ornate plasterwork alongside the beautiful curved ceiling, both of which are highlighted in gold. The front two rows of seats are removable, providing a larger staging area in front of the screen for guest speakers or intimate performances. Please note that the published rate and minimum # of hours to book are flexible and it depends on the type of event, days of the week, timings & number of guests. So, it would be best to enquire if you are interested. The venue may have a separate cancellation policy. For further information, please ask the Event Manager.
