Informazioni sullo spazio
Siamo una grande struttura vittoriana circondata da un giardino erboso. La casa è stata costruita nel 1891 da un banchiere chiamato ROGGENKAMP e conserva tutte le sue originali modanature ornate, pluviali in rame e un bellissimo portico arrotondato davanti. La linea del tetto presenta alcune passerelle per vedove e tutti i tipici ornamenti e decorazioni vittoriane. Tutte le stanze al piano terra hanno soffitti molto alti (circa 14 ft) e lavorazioni in legno originali ma sono dipinte con colori vivaci. La lavorazione del legno è molto elegante e dettagliata. La cucina ha un soffitto a cassettoni in stagno spettacolare. La cucina è una cucina da chef con un grande forno VIKING e un frigorifero subzero con molto spazio per la preparazione. Le stanze sono aperte e ariose (a differenza della maggior parte delle vittoriane) con una panca sotto la finestra panoramica. Ci sono due caminetti a gas funzionanti, uno piccolo nel salotto e uno grande nella sala da pranzo. L'uso di tutte le aree è disponibile, inclusa la cucina per la preparazione del cibo. Il secondo piano ha tutti soffitti con abbaini. Al piano superiore ci sono tre camere molto interessanti con uno studio aggiunto con scaffali per libri. Una stanza ha pareti e soffitti imbottiti in seta con stampa cinese. Una camera da letto è tutta curve e fiori con grandi finestre a doppia anta. Due delle stanze hanno vetrate colorate vittoriane. Inoltre, al piano superiore c'è un piccolo bagno moderno con doccia tutto in pietra agata. C'è un murale dipinto che corre lungo le scale fino al secondo piano e il corridoio che raffigura caratteristiche della città di Redlands e i suoi rinomati aranceti. Abbiamo anche alcune aree inquietanti situate nella soffitta e sotto le fondamenta rialzate disponibili per le riprese. SI PREGA DI VEDERE LE FOTO ALLEGATE

We had a fantastic experience shooting at the Historic Era Victorian - Roggenkamp House. The space is extremely spacious with multiple rooms available, each decorated with authentic, classical Victorian details that fit perfectly for period-style filming. Every corner of the house has character, and nothing feels staged—it truly preserves the original charm, which made our shots look incredible on camera. The host, Joyce, was wonderful to work with—very kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. The backyard is large and versatile, making it ideal for additional set building or staging gear. The only minor challenge is the distance/location, but once you arrive, you realize it’s absolutely worth it. If you're looking for a location with real historical texture, flexible shooting space, and a supportive host, I highly recommend this place.

Had the pleasure of booking at this truly unique house that we used as a filming location for our upcoming movie “that one summer”. The home is brimming with character, and every corner has a story to tell. The house itself is immaculately maintained, It perfectly combines charm with modern comforts, making it a memorable and relaxing experience. The host was incredible—so kind and attentive throughout our shoot. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a chance to live a piece of cinematic history. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Joyce is an outstanding host. She has such kind energy and allowed our guests to explore all areas of the house. She catered to our every need and was truly so friendly. Joyce’s home is absolutely amazing to say the LEAST. My husband and I decided to have our baby sprinkle (small baby shower) there on September 7th based on the beautiful pictures provided online. This home is even more magical in person. The Victorian, garden, and artsy aesthetic fit our needs perfectly. It actually feels like a historic museum upon entry (that’s what all of our guests said as they arrived). The front yard and backyard space is abundant and gorgeous with lots of shade. Our event was a major hit and it was because of the character of this home. The artwork, finishings, and the greenery are unmatched. If we have any events in the future we would definitely book again with Joyce. Trust me, Joyce and her home will exceed your expectations! She is so accommodating and will make you feel very comfortable in her home!
