Benvenuti nella nostra dimensione magica! Il nostro Chateau-Castello in cima alla collina si trova su una cresta alla fine di una lunga strada privata tortuosa che si fonde maestosamente in un ambiente tranquillo e privato, completato da viste mozzafiato sulle montagne della valle inferiore di Hudson. Una volta passati i cancelli gotici d'ingresso, bracieri infuocati vi accolgono sul ponte levatoio mentre entrate in un altro mondo. Caratteristiche uniche includono una taverna ispirata al Medioevo con travi lavorate a mano, finestre con vetri colorati su misura, pavimenti in tavole larghe, mobili gotici e un enorme camino in pietra per cucinare. Tutte le camere riflettono l'amore dei proprietari per la storia elegante e la passione per ambientazioni fantasy epiche ispirate. Una scala curva su misura conduce a un ampio soggiorno luminoso con vista sulle montagne dalle finestre con vetri piombati. La proprietà include una biblioteca, torre del castello, scala a chiocciola in pietra con feritoie, sala da pranzo cappella gotica, libreria con porta segreta, porta chiodata, solarium ispirato al Greco/Romano e innumerevoli spazi intriganti dentro e fuori con elementi architettonici storici e antichità. Gli edifici esterni includono un fienile in stile Pennsylvania di 2 1/2 piani, capanna in pietra con scandole di cedro, capanno da giardino e grande gazebo ottagonale vittoriano circondato da rododendri di oltre 30 anni. Una piscina a forma di scudo personalizzata è circondata da giardini cottage maturi e da una recinzione in ferro gotico/vittoriana mozzafiato. La casa vanta giardini formali e perenni consolidati e meticolosamente curati, ognuno con caratteristiche uniche. Alla fine di un lungo sentiero formale si trova un arco di rovina in pietra unico che incornicia una statua di Pan alta 6 piedi. Altre aree del giardino includono un giardino ombreggiato con stagno e panchine gotiche, una fontana vittoriana in metallo, un giardino di erbe e altro. Il castello si estende su 11,5 acri con sentieri boschivi e un meraviglioso albero di olmo Ent chiamato Lowfrond che custodisce la foresta. Magnifico!

Beautiful venue with excellent hosts! Rob was responsive, kind, and clearly invested in fulfilling the needs of the project beyond just having us in the space. He was incredibly accommodating and understanding throughout the whole process, and has plenty of experience hosting. The venue has so many excellent spaces to shoot in, from beautifully crafted gardens to the woods surrounding. The house itself has so many rooms, all with decor that has been carefully curated by the hosts. Could not recommend enough!

Rob and Mabe are truly wonderful, both as hosts and as people. From the booking process to the actual shoot, they were incredibly kind, generous, and accommodating. They helped us with everything we could have needed, and were honestly the best hosts we could have asked for. We are beyond grateful to have been able to shoot as such a beautiful home and to have met and worked with such fantastic owners. I can’t stress enough what an amazing experience it was, and I could not recommend booking here for any event more!

We completed a 2 day shoot in November for my feature film, Trip to the Moon, and Rob and Mabelyn were super helpful. Right from the moment they greeted us as we drove in, I could tell they genuinely cared about our project and about us as guests. Anything we needed, they were right there to accommodate. If you need a unique steampunk/fantasy historical setting, then their home is the perfect place. Highly recommended. Would definitely book again.

Mabelyn and Rob were great! They were very responsive. The house was perfect with so many different areas for our photoshoot. Great experience overall!

Mabe and Rob were a delight to work with from the initial enquiry all the way through a busy (and unusual!) shoot day. They helped us out with a lot of random and sometimes last minute requests and were extremely accommodating, understanding and supportive. Very generous, friendly and kind people - and a beautiful property! - would highly highly recommend.

Could not recommend this castle enough. An amazing beautiful, and spacious property with wonderful hosts. Rob and Mabe were so attentive, hospitable, and kind. The inside of the home is straight out of a fantasy story. It truly feels like you’re in a book or movie as soon as you walk in. My party and I had such a memorable night!

We have been looking for a beautiful house upstate for a modeling photoshoot. Rob and Mabelyn’s place was by far and away the hidden gem. While only a short distance from the city when we arrived we were struck by the serene natural beauty whether of the perfectly manicured gardens or the pristine forest surrounding the house. Rob gave us a tour and helped us set up to ensure the team was comfortable and could hit the ground running, and Rob and his wife supported us throughout the day, even helping us coordinate parking when we ended up with extra cars onsite. The house itself has amazing character and charisma which is only elaborated after dark as the torches light up the the castle gate and the mood lighting comes one. I wish Rob & Mabelyn the best of luck with their beautiful home and would wholeheartedly recommend this awesome castle for any of your creative projects!

What can I say besides WOW. Everything and anything you would ever want and or need is at this location. All original and handcrafted by the hosts -and such fine detail. The hosts were INCREDIBLE always there when needed and extremely helpful. I would recommend this location and the hosts without a doubt! If you’re thinking about this location- don’t- just BOOK!
