We’ve hosted top productions from around the world including TV networks, photographers, film and musical artists. Built in 1927 on the Detroit Golf Club, the majestic Tudor served as residence for 25-years by the “greatest singer of all time,” as named by Rolling Stone. And just prior, it was home to feminist, artist and original Lone Ranger actress, Patricia Hill Burnett. Special Note: We are a full time private residence. The studio space includes a 3,000 SqFt (Height: 14’5” Width: 30’8”  Depth: 32’) cyc studio space, kitchenette, seating area, lofted seating area, bathroom with shower, and enclosed shipping crate for editing, hosting clients, or talent dressing. An additional double door garage entrance into the space is available for automotive and large load in's. Studio manager will be on-site at time of studio usage.

Welcome to our urban garden! Our space includes a brick garage, courtyard, alley, sprawling garden and lawn, mini pool, and camper van. Our once 3-car garage has been transformed into a multi-purpose space that can be used for movie screenings, events, workshops, smaller wedding receptions, and music shows. There is a small kitchen setup in the garage as well as a bar with two mini fridges available for your use. Two sets of French doors open up the space allowing ample fresh air and easy flow

Prohibition is a basement speakeasy located directly underneath the Lager House. It is a private bar available for rental with a capacity of 49 people.

This recently restored historic home is located in one of Detroit's most established neighborhoods, University District. The home is a 4.5k+ square foot 1926 Tudor Revival. It is recommended that you bring your own studio lights. The studio is located inside The Russell Industrial Center and is not equipped with air conditioning.
