If you are planning on exchanging vows with the love of your life in Le Marche, it doesn't matter where you say "I do" because the Italian region as a whole is stunningly beautiful. Details like whether yours is an elopement, an intimate affair, or a grand occasion determine the specific wedding venue that suits your nuptials.

From five-star hotels to rustic-chic country villas and hillside vineyards; you'll be spoilt for choice when scouring Le Marche for a wedding venue. You'll also stumble upon thousand-year-old castles and quaint farm-to-table wineries. The options are endless, and it just comes down to the wedding style you've chosen for your big day.

Wedding Dresses & Accessories for a Le Marche Italy Destination Wedding

The two bridal looks represent vastly different styles. For the bride planning an elopement or small intimate affair in Le Marche, the first non-traditional look is a great choice. It’s an easy ensemble to put together and captures the simplicity of destination nuptials. The second look is more befitting for a woman who has long-dreamed about having a romantic and elegant wedding.

Striking little details like the floral-printed lace fabric, see-through sleeves, and sweeping length makes the gown all sorts of dreamy like the entire affair.  We’re also swept away by the floral headband which pairs perfectly with both looks. The braid styling and diamond hairpin further highlight the concept of "beauty in simplicity."

Reception Decor for a Le Marche Italy Destination Wedding

The wedding venue is described as the third character in your wedding story simply because it sets the scene for the day. Against the backdrop of the Adriatic sea, cultivated countryside, and Le Marche squares; half the work is done when dressing up the reception venue. It still doesn't hurt to make your wedding "extra Italian" with these wedding decoration ideas.

Long banquet tables set up outdoors, candles encased in glass holders, pre-ceremony drink stations, and tonnes of foliage intertwined with colorful blooms reflect an all-through Italian reception. Citrus colors, antique details, and olive tree leaves describe the decorative elements you'll also see at a Le Marche Italy destination wedding.

Bouquets & Boutonnieres for a Le Marche Italy Destination Wedding

Weddings in Italy still maintain a predominantly white color scheme and it's the same for the floral arrangements. White roses are often included in the posies to symbolize fidelity and purity. Most nuptials also incorporate colorful selections of blooms that reflect the style and season of the wedding.

Taking a leaf from the editorial, an arrangement of lavender, pink, white, purple, blue, and yellow blooms embodies the Le Marche spirit. The usual favorites, dahlias, carnations, calla lilies, and peonies, are some of the wedding flowers that create beautifully Italian wedding bouquets. The Le Marche touch further comes out by creating buttonholes made up of blue, yellow, and lavender-colored blooms.

Table Setting Style for a Le Marche Italy Destination Wedding

Food is at the heart of an authentic Italian experience. You also want to create an impact with the table setting style, and an imperial setup is a lovely choice. A long table placed in a u-shaped set up with rattan chairs creates a very Italian-chic aesthetic.

A white table cloth is an ideal choice, and it should ideally touch the ground for a better outlook. Colorful napkins in a combination of blue and white or yellow and white suit the theme. Maintain the white hue for the plates and pair them with silver flatware. Cascading floral centerpieces complete the setting.

Food for a Le Marche Italy Destination Wedding

Having a Le Marche destination wedding guarantees that your guests will enjoy an authentic Italian menu. It's the best place to also enjoy a farm-to-table experience with food sourced directly from the local farms. Pasta is a known Italian favorite and it's often served with fish from the Adriatic Sea and other locally-sourced meats.

Italian meals are usually served buffet-style with a starter dish containing varieties of cheeses and cured meats. Olive all’ascolana is yet another traditional favorite and it's usually served with fried vegetables as well as a cream mix. Wine from the country's finest vineyards is also an accompaniment you can't miss at an Italian wedding banquet.

Wedding Invitations for a Le Marche Italy Destination Wedding

The official wedding invitations, save the date cards, wedding program, and place cards should reflect all that's beautiful about Le Marche. There are plenty of design ideas but a blue, yellow, orange, and white/cream color palette for the stationery suite is quite reminiscent of Italy. Lemon and olive leaf motifs also capture some aspects that are often tied to the European nation.

Colorful prints that conjure up memories of Sicily or rustic-style stationery that immediately make you dream of Tuscan vineyards are equally inspired choices. Settling for a blue and white palette is also a great option to keep things simple with Italian references.

From Roberta Facchini Photography – “We photographed our lovely bride in a fabulous room at Urbino Resort with windows that opened out towards the intimate church. Our gorgeous bride’s suite was adorned with flowers and luxury boutique confectionery. The team was all sourced in Italy (dress and shoes designer, hair and make up artist, venue, stationery, videographer etc) however we did have an international touch coming from the UK (Hermione Harbutt). We truly showed the Marche region in a romantic and rustic, very Italian way!”
