Best Landscape Photographers in Tacoma, WA
It’s no secret that the Pacific Northwest is home to some of the most majestic scenery in the United States. Breathtaking coastlines, lush forests, and gushing waterfalls lie around every corner, offering plenty of inspiration for landscape photographers.
As a result, Tacoma is home to some of the best in the business, who have made documenting natural scenes their mission. In this article, we’ll introduce a few of the landscape photographers in Tacoma whose work we love.
501 Exposures Photography
Bryan is the man behind the camera at 501 Exposures Photography, which specializes in not only wildlife, nature, and landscape photography but also real estate imagery and portraiture. He believes that photos “give us the opportunity to capture a single moment in time and bring it to life over and over again”.
Originally from Graham, Bryan now calls Tacoma “home” and loves living somewhere that offers plenty of opportunities to immerse himself in the wilderness. Even when he’s not capturing images for clients, Bryan likes to spend his time out exploring mountain trails or deep in the forest finding inspiration.

Jim Patterson Photography
Jim Patterson has been an avid photographer for more than 25 years and is currently based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He says that his passion for photographing the natural world began underneath the water’s surface while studying marine biology and eventually shifted to documenting coastal landscapes.
Over time, he expanded his landscape photography interest inland and he now strives to capture images that are both visually impressive and personally meaningful.
