From Ly Sue of LH Photography – “When thinking of an underlying theme for this shoot, we best described it as deconstructed nature mixed with touches of glam and romance! The colour palette throughout encompassed both contrast and subtlety with citron, gold, and blush tonalities, which created the perfect balance against the backdrop of the venue.

For the ceremony setting, we brought in details such as dip dyed citron baskets filled with blankets, fur, and textural fabrics to soften the space and give a sense and feel of warmth. For the escort card display our hand painted natural stones to reflect the colour story and framed it as an art piece.

We wanted the table setting to sum up all of the elements and tell the whole story. We had fun playing with unconventional uses of different things such as the use of blankets as table covers, blush scarves as table runners, and necklaces to hold the table number.

The floral arrangement incorporated both natural and paper flowers arranged in an effortless, organic way to follow the asymmetrical shape of the gold branch. The unique bridal bouquet was a reflection of the centrepiece; unconventional, beautiful, and free-form.”
