The most memorable event you have worked on and why?

Charity trivia event for Black Dog Institute as it was for my final university project and was such a successful night that made me proud to be studying events and getting into the industry and holding this event for close family and friends.

What did you ‘learn the hard way’ when planning an event?

That even though you want to be organised and top of on everything, you need to be patient as details take time and not everything can be done in one day

What are three personality traits that are required to succeed in the events industry?

Organisation, patience and good time management

If you could share one piece of advice to those starting out in the industry what would it be?

Mistakes are inevitable when starting out. If you make a mistake learn from it and don’t make the same mistake twice.

Sushi/ Lebanese/Italian

What is the craziest request you have ever had when planning an event?

To be seated outside but for the seagulls not be around.

Why do you love your job?

The people I get to work and meet in the industry as well as being such a huge part of a couple’s biggest day of their lives knowing I helped create that.
