‘When I think cafe, the first thing that comes to mind is comfort. Warm, nourishing food, bold colours and romance,’ says Jacqueline. And romantic it was. The Vendome Café offers the old-world charm of a European bistro, complete with marble countertops, painted brick and vintage crown mouldings.”

“The wedding table was bathed in wide florals, elevated on rustic butcher blocks and housed by a textured gold vase. The bouquet echoed the shape with a mix of jewel tones that popped when the bride put on a mustard/ochre pullover for warmth. Gold flatware, antique candle holders, blackberries and navy blue candles anchored the setting in deep, lavish tones. Classic crystal glassware softened the moodier pieces of the table beautifully.

The seated banquet style, the Tablescape included old-fashioned plates and light serviettes, accompanied by bold menus and homemade mini pies for guest to enjoy.”
