At first glance, you can’t miss the rich, vibrant flowers that stand out against a white background. If you look closely, you’ll see how all the elements of Anthropologie and J. Crew styles come together in perfect harmony.
The black and white striped linens add lines, while the black utensils and ghost chairs offer a modern edge to the tablescape. The floral centrepieces freshen up the spacious, minimalist wedding venue.
The wedding flowers weren’t just gathered and added to a massive vase. There’s a creative approach to the table setting with silver and gold vases of varying heights and sizes. Each is filled with gorgeous cheery flowers like peonies, anemones, and honeysuckles with lush greenery.
Budget for an Anthropologie and J. Crew Style Wedding
Planning a wedding isn’t easy, and it isn’t cheap either. But there are ways to put together the wedding of your dreams, even on a tight wedding budget. Thankfully, an Anthropologie and J. Crew style wedding doesn’t require pricey and fancy elements to pull off, as long as you’re creative and willing to go out of your comfort zone.
Schedule your wedding in summer or spring, where you have more budget-friendly flower options since most wedding flowers bloom during these seasons. This theme is also more suitable for industrial and unique settings like art galleries, museums, and converted spaces. These places tend to be cheaper than popular wedding venues like hotels, restaurants, conference centres, and function halls.
Wedding Dresses & Accessories for an Anthropologie and J. Crew Style Wedding
Dressing up for an Anthropologie and J. Crew wedding style is super fun and exciting, especially for brides who love experimenting with their outfits. You have a lot of options for your gown, from lace wedding dresses to simple strapless bridal gowns. Any wedding dress should work, but your accessories are the ultimate game-changers that could revitalise your look.
Highlight your Anthropologie style with a stunning headband featuring glittering gold beads that look great with a lace dress with a golden belt. The addition of foliage in your half updo hairstyle gives an ethereal and free-spirited appeal. You may also opt for more sparkling details with a crystal bridal headband that matches your exaggerated rhinestone necklace and bracelets.
Bouquets & Boutonnieres for an Anthropologie and J. Crew Style Wedding
One of the essential elements of an Anthropologie and J. Crew wedding theme is the wedding bouquet. Besides your floral centrepieces, it’s an opportunity to emphasise your wedding colours and various elements representing these unique brands.
The inspiration for the exquisite vintage florals for the boutonnieres and bouquets came from Anthropologie. They include blooms in warm tones like orange and yellow anemones, pink Ranunculus, and red peonies. The long gold striped ribbon that holds the bridal bouquet together and the trailing greenery and filler flowers give off the modern, edgy vibe of J. Crew. These elements make the entire arrangement look sophisticated yet preppy.
Reception Decor for an Anthropologie and J. Crew Style Wedding
An Anthropologie and J. Crew wedding theme is minimalist and romantic, ideal for a variety of wedding styles, from vintage and rustic to glamorous and whimsical. Once you’ve picked a suitable venue, it’s easy to transform the space into something that reflects these brands and projects the couple’s personality.
Pick an area in the room and choose an item or two you want to place in that corner that will serve as your focal point. It could be a rug, a painting, a striped table cloth, a floral centrepiece, or a combination of any two items that pop. This way, other ornaments recede, allowing you to create a well-balanced décor.
Wedding Photo Shoot Ideas for an Anthropologie and J. Crew Style Wedding

Take before and after photos of the venue to see how you’ve transformed the space and become an inspiration to others who want to make their version of Anthropologie and J. Crew styles.
Take photos of the reception table and key features of the décor, including the cake stand and floral arrangements. The groom would love a full-body shot of the bride smiling sweetly in front of the camera. But don’t forget to have a close-up shot of the bride flaunting her sparkling accessories and holding her beautiful bouquet with an eclectic mix of bright flowers.

Outdoor Wedding Ideas for an Anthropologie and J. Crew Style Wedding
The best thing about choosing an Anthropologie and J. Crew wedding theme is that you can execute it in any indoor or outdoor setting. Suppose you want to take your party outdoors. In that case, a backyard or a garden area will work by adding bohemian elements and nature-inspired ornaments, like dried grasses, feathers, and old furniture.
Other outdoor venues like ranches, farms, beaches, vineyards, and spaces with expansive and scenic landscapes also make a perfect backdrop for Anthropologie and J. Crew wedding styles. They’re perfect free-spirited couples who prefer a more casual wedding, as it gives them the freedom to express their artistic sides.
Anthropologie + J.Crew Wedding Style
Everyone identifies with a certain clothing store. These types of stores have branded themselves SO well that it’s almost as if the clothes, the aesthetic, and the store displays / windows are speaking to each of their customers.
What if you’re a bride who identifies with two very distinct looks at the same time and you want them both in your wedding? Thus the inspiration for this funky cool shoot from Milou + Olin Photography and Scarlett & Grace that showcases two my favourites: Anthropologie and J. Crew!
From Caroline of Milou + Olin – “We both love Anthropologie and J. Crew. One part of me loves the femininity and freedom of Anthropologie with its romantic and bohemian feeling while the other part of me also loves the fun, Preppy, modern styling of J. Crew. It’s a little bit of yin and yang. So we thought – what about combing the two together?
We tried to pull the key elements of each style – stripes and bling from J. Crew and vintage florals from Anthropologie. Admittedly, it was a tough concept at first, but we had so much fun doing it! I thought that Erin’s floral styling was wonderful: she used bright J. Crew colours and styled them in a free-flowing ‘Anthropologie’ way!”
Pulling from the warm bohemian look of Anthropologie and the clean lines of J. Crew, Caroline of Milou + Olin brought in a modern edge with black and white striped linens, ghost chairs, black utensils, and tumblers from her own collection.
Erin of Scarlett & Grace layered in the eclectic bright mix of flowers, mix n’ match vessels, some vintage Culver highballs, her grandmother’s floral china and finished it off with a vintage floral rug.
What an awesome hybrid these two looks create!
