Casa del Palomar is a charming rural retreat—a beautifully preserved 19th-century farmhouse built using natural materials like thick stone walls and exposed wooden beams. Set on a fully fenced 10-hectare estate filled with olive groves, pine trees, poplars, and fruit trees, the property offers a peaceful escape into nature. Historically, the farmhouse was home to two families: the land’s farmer and a local guard who watched over the surrounding area. They lived off the land, cultivating cereals in the winter and garden produce in the summer, while raising animals such as chickens, pigeons, pigs, bulls, horses, and lambs. The house accommodates between 4 to 28 guests and is spread over two floors. It includes three bedrooms (one with a double bed and two with twin beds), a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms with showers—one conveniently located on the ground floor. For comfort during colder months, the home features oil heating and a cozy wood-burning stove. Ideal for large groups or families seeking an authentic countryside experience, Casa del Palomar invites guests to step back in time while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of rural life.
