Historic 1940's Bowling Alley
San Antonio, TX

Share The Bowling Alley was built in 1947, and it was the first Brunswick automated lanes built in the state of Texas. It was quite the technological advancement at that time, and the Hermann Sons, headed up by Fritz Schilo, decided they needed a place to gather and to provide the public with a state-of-the-art bowling alley.
Located on the second floor, the bowling alley is no longer open to the public. However, this time capsule is a gem that you can rent for special occasions.
The bowling alley has a bar and a very spacious floorplan. Lanes can be turned on by special request.
