This unique space, being a former church boasts high ceilings and amazing natural lighting through the original gothic windows. It is nestled in the country with beautiful landscape backdrops around it, yet it is just minutes to the centre of Toronto. There are several spaces available to you, the main space which is open concept. Having a beautiful intricate antique rod iron spiral staircase to the second floor, original hardwood floors dating back to 1800s, wood-burning stove, and a large open concept modern gourmet kitchen. Outside the side door one can enjoy the private garden with perennials and apple trees, oak trees, maple trees and a beautiful stone patio. Up the stairs, on the second floor there are five rooms two are bathrooms. This space is part of B&B which is exclusive to our events. It is a private space, therefore we only cater to one event at a time. When renting our venue you will be the only guests enjoying the space. There is ample parking, and a couple of outbuildings which are fantastic for photographic backdrops. We specialize in intimate smaller events. Our space can accommodate up to 50 seated and 100 standing cocktail style. We are a full service venue, therefore feel free to ask questions in regards to menu and additional a la cart items like a tent an ceremony service for your wedding. You are welcome to bring your preferred carter to handle the food for your special day, please remember they must be a certified caterer and there is a landmark fee for this service.

THE MENU….should you need food…. Because it is our policy to provide you with only the best service, food, and ambiance, menus are provided through our affiliated approved caterers. A 15% landmark fee will apply on food provided by any caterer of your choice. However, we reserve the right to reject caterers at their discretion following their review process. An additional 15% gratuity is also applicable on food cost for serving/kitchen staff requested for your event. BAR We provide liquor licenses as required and organize all the alcohol for your event. There are a few ways of organizing the bar: - Open Bar – price based on per person consumption based on number of guests attending, free to guests - Limited Bar – price based on set limit and/or certain items (to be agreed upon)– overages paid by guests - Cash Bar – provided by the Hartman, paid by guests We can accommodate sit-down, buffet, cocktail, informal receptions, etc.
