About Brighton

Brighton is located on the south coast of England and is known for its stunning seaside, iconic landmarks and friendly locals. Brighton is one of the smaller cities in England, with a population of only 290,000 people. However, with numerous well-known attractions and over 9 million visitors each year, it definitely can’t be described as ‘quiet’ or ‘peaceful.’

For several reasons, organising a charity event in Brighton would be great. Firstly, Brighton is relatively close to a few major cities in England, the most famous of which is London, the country’s capital. Southampton and Reading are also nearby; hence, you may have people attending your charity event from there, too!

Londoners love visiting Brighton as it allows them to witness the city’s breathtaking beach and enjoy the wholesome view from the bustling pier. Therefore, you may get more visitors to your event from London than you might expect.

Numerous fundraising events of all sorts are held in the city each year. As a result, you won’t have any trouble finding venues, vendors and helpful services that will conveniently contribute to your charity event.

You will get a perfect idea of how to arrange your charity event in Brighton if you go through this handy guide and take note of all the necessary information that you can use to organise a charity event that meets its objective!

Charity Event Options in Brighton

Arranging a charity event is certainly not an easy task as there are multiple factors you will have to consider. You will have to identify your budget, your charity event’s theme, a suitable venue for the event, a reasonable and effective way of collecting donations, and most importantly, how you’ll promote the cause before the event to draw as many visitors as possible. The vendors that will help make your charity event a success are equally important. Below are a few services that can be extremely helpful for your charity event.

  • Event Planning
Organising an event can be very challenging, especially if it’s your first time. If you are a little nervous about planning your upcoming charity event, hiring an event planner is the way to go. They can take the massive burden of arranging the charity event, allowing you more time for other aspects of the event, such as catering and equipment.

  • Catering
A charity event without some delicious food will not only be incomplete but will be an event that does not live up to its visitors’ expectations. If the venue you hire doesn’t have a package with food, you should start looking into catering companies that will serve your charity’s potential donors some tasty food!

  • Printing Service
Having brochures and leaflets handed out to visitors will maximise the level of advertisement for your charity event. Having basic information about your charity and your organisation's contact details printed out on a leaflet will give your guests the freedom to donate whenever they want. Additionally, if you have a website for your charity, you can advertise it on the leaflet so that guests can stay updated with your future charity events.
