About Bridgehampton
Bridgehampton is considered a hamlet with a population of less than 1,500 so it is difficult to call it much more than a small town. Though it may be a small town, that doesn't mean it has little to offer. In fact, Bridgehampton is known for having some of the most high-end resorts and first-class amenities anywhere in the northeast. Some may even call it a rich enclave of sorts, where people who live a life of luxury like to spend their time.
Situated on the far east end of New York State, Bridgehampton has a ton of different activities to enjoy from equestrian events to auto racing, vintage auto tours, boat sailing, and more. Being on the water gives much of the area a resort-like feel.
If your hobbies include outdoor activities and you have the time in between photo shoots or wedding planning to do them, then Bridgehampton is a great place to be. Even with a tiny population, there's still plenty to see and do, such as museums, botanical gardens, and other attractions.
The climate in Bridgehampton is nice as well. The temperatures usually range from slightly below freezing during the winter to the mid-80s in the summer months, making the town cool most of the year and warm during the summer. You can expect an average of six or seven days a month of rainfall, meaning there's plenty of time to get outdoors and enjoy all there is to see and do. So long as you don't mind the occasional rainfall and snow, Bridgehampton is a wonderful place to visit the outdoors.
