The Carol is a unique heritage character loft in Gastown. The loft is spacious, has gorgeous detailing, old-world charm, and modern updates to perfectly refine its vintage-modern theme. With high ceilings, beautiful restored brick and fir-wood floors, gas fireplace, large windows allowing for plenty of natural light, this space is perfect for your next project. The layout offers optimum functionality with a large highly customized modern kitchen with induction stovetop, a separated bedroom, and a vintage styled washroom. White roll down backdrop available. Book your photoshoot, film, birthday, wedding proposal, bridal shower, book launch, special event & more at this unique gem of a spot. Love to see what you create at The Carol! *Please remove shoes inside the space. New shoes can be worn for modelling purposes only. *Please note for bookings over 12 ppl there is an additional fee. *If you require to see the space before booking, there is a half hour fee.

A beautiful space that is well suited for photos. Owner has great communication. Would highly recommend!

We had such a good experience shooting here. While I never met Surya win person, I did speak to her on the phone and she was always very responsive messaging through the app. She was very helpful in answering questions beforehand and even sent me a walkthrough video when I couldn't see it in person due to my schedule. She sent concise instructions on how to gain access the day of the shoot. Everything went off without a hitch. The location is beautiful, clean and exactly how it appears in the pictures. We used the Carol for a photo shoot for our law firm and the pictures that I've seen so far turned out amazing. Really happy we used The Carol, would use it again, and highly recommend.
