About the Space

WE MAKE PRODUCTION RENTALS EASY: When you rent with us, we’ve got you covered from start to finish. We’ve set our space up so that all you have to do is show up with your camera. We even include the lighting equipment if you want it. No lugging heavy gear if you don’t want to because we provide you with all the kit. Our space is one big open concept so you get access to all of our shooting spaces with your rental. Plus we’re on call if you need us during your rental. WHAT TYPES OF SHOOTS COMMONLY HAPPEN IN OUR STUDIO? - Small film productions - Interviews - Boudoir shoots - Branding shoots - Wedding/Engagement shoots - Music videos - Family portrait shoots - Portrait shoots - Cosplay shoots - Many more! GENERAL NOTES: - Easy to access by TTC (Queen & King streetcars drop you almost right in front) - Free parking on the street in the blocks around the building - Lighting gear (strobe OR LED) is INCLUDED - If you want to use your own lights, feel free to use our stands - Easy support during your rental. Just call us PREP AREAS - Large, bright makeup station that 2 stylists can work from - Change room - Rolling portable steamer - Rolling clothing rack STUDIO FEATURES - Sonos sound system. All You have to do is connect to the WIFI to use it - Elevator & freight elevator - Kitchenette with bar fridge to keep your drinks cold - Air conditioning and heating - Washroom down the hall - Filtered water GEAR & GRIP - 2x C-stands - 3x Rolling stands with booms - White/black V-Flats - 4x Godox AD400 flashes - 2x Nanlite 500w LED lights - 2x Nanlite 300w bi-colour LED lights - Numerous light shaping tools OPTIONAL EXTRAS (added fees) - 6 different paper backdrops that you can use for a $50 fee (white, black, grey, yellow, red, tan) STUDIO FEATURES - 1800 square feet - Sheer diffusing curtains, and blackout drapes (95% blackout) - Large west facing windows with lots of natural light all day, with direct sunlight in the afternoon - When you rent, you are the only renters in the space --- FAQ’s What happens if I run overtime? - ALL OVERTIME MUST BE APPROVED and if there is no renter after you, it will be billed at 1.5x the hourly rate. If there is a renter after you, you MUST finish on time. If you have not vacated the space by the end of your allotted time, you will be billed at 2.5x for a minimum of an hour. What's check-in look like? - We send you an access code to enter our studio that works from the start time of your rental Is there elevator access? - Yes, there is a passenger elevator you’ll use to get up the the 3rd floor. There’s also a freight elevator with an outdoor loading dock if you have to move in larger items. Is there a cleaning fee? - No unless you leave a mess. We expect that you clean up after yourself and leave the studio in the same condition you found it.

    Great experience booking this studio for my production! The host was very friendly and responsive to messages, and the space itself was lovely for filming in. It's perfectly built for photography and other film needs, offering a variety of background options for many styles of project. It was easy to get to from the downtown core, and had multiple options for parking nearby. Overall, easily a five-star rating!

    Beautiful huge space, just as photographed. Has all the amenities you could possibly think of. The natural lighting through the huge windows really does wonders for photographs. Details on how to locate the loft are easy and precise. Overall a great experience
