It was such a great space for a small group event. I am so glad I was able to celebrate my birthday here, and the team was very nice and considerate as well!
Open concept white cube with an industrial look: high concrete ceilings, concrete floors with white walls. We have a full service cafe/bar at one end, a gallery space in the middle, and a cozy cafe seating by the entrance. All the furniture can be easily moved to make more space for shoots/events. We've been host to photo/video shoots, concerts, art exhibitions, album listening parties, club meetings, and many other private events. We highly recommend visiting the space prior to booking to get a better idea. A lot of our clients have told us how much bigger the space is in person, especially with the furniture moved.
All furniture in the space are either on wheels or light weight for the purpose of shoots or hosting events. A barista/bartender can be hired during your shoot/event as a bonus. If it's a night event, either the client or we can obtain a Special Occasion Permit to serve alcohol for guests. Art on gallery walls cannot be moved, however if white wall is needed, the entire half of the space is blank white walls. The space can hold over 100 guests.
Basic summary:
-Minimum of 5 hours booking
-Setup and breakdown time must be included in the rental period
-We have a hard overtime at $300/hr, so all guests must leave by end of rental period
-Platform rate of $100/hr reflects the use of our cash bar with minimum spend of $1000
-Cash bar only offer canned beers and coolers at $7 (wine can be requested)
-We charge $100 extra to bring in your own food and catering, but no alcohol allowed.
-We are not able to provide any fridge space, and guests may not enter the bar area nor clients use our any of our bar equipment.
-We have a damage deposit of $500 that is returned the day after inspection clearance
